Jacobie Henderson grew up watching ACC football outside of Charlotte, N.C. so when the ACC Championship Game was in town last winter, he decided to head over to Bank of America Stadium. What he didn’t know at the time was that he was watching his future team at Virginia play in that game.
Henderson started his career at Marshall, but then moved on to Rutgers when his Thundering Herd coach Charles Huff was fired. After a year with the Knights, though, he had decided to look around for his final year of college football. Once his name hit the portal, it didn’t take long for UVA Defensive Coordinator John Rudzinski to call his phone.
