When Joey Orck took over as the offensive line coach at Virginia this winter, he could take some comfort in one fact. He knew he would have a lot of experience in the room.

The Cavaliers returned three starters from 2025’s 11-win team in McKale Boley, Noah Josey, and Drake Metcalf. That trio alone all played at least 850 snaps last season and they’ve combined for more than 6,500 college snaps. UVA also expects to get Monroe Mills and Makilan Thomas, transfers from Louisville and Arkansas State that sat out injured last season, back in the lineup to drop another 4,700+ snaps into the mix.
