For the second straight time at home and the fourth time in five games, the Virginia football team fell well short of a fully competitive game. Clemson cruised 48-31, North Carolina rolled 41-14, Notre Dame won 35-14, and SMU stomped the Hoos 33-7 this weekend. Only a 24-19 victory at Pitt broke up the string.
