Last season, Brennan Armstrong made his mark on the college football scene. In his first two seasons, he was used in a utility role, as Bryce Perkins shined from behind center. In 2020 and 2021, however, Armstrong rose to starter status and broke numerous Virginia passing records. Last fall, he posted the single-season passing yardage (4,449) and touchdowns (31) records in school history.
