As the Virginia football team gets under way with preseason camp this August, there will be a bunch of position battles to watch out for on the UVA offense.

The offensive line must be entirely revamped this offseason, and center is the key spot to keep an eye on through training camp. Running back will be a focal point for the new coaching staff as well given that coach Tony Elliott has repeatedly noted his hope for a more balanced offense. The rotation of the wide receivers will also be interesting to see play out given the returning talent from last year at the top of the group. Obviously, Brennan Armstrong will be the starting quarterback, but the backup order is certainly not settled. Lastly, the tight end group is largely untested, but Grant Misch and Sackett Wood Jr. appear to have separated themselves from the pack for the time being.
