Whether it be changes in the coaching staff or players, this upcoming Cavalier football team will look quite different than last season. This pattern — at least this article and a recent one by Kris — of citing the 6-6 record as evidence the team should pass less is ridiculous. That team scored enough to win 10 games. The problem was the defense. But hey, let’s have more 1 yard runs because the coach believes in balance.

  Not evidence that the offense should pass less, but evidence that the total package didn't produce beyond a .500 record. The thought seems to be that passing less <I>could</I> help other areas. We'll see if that's true.
