Following a sluggish start in game one, the Virginia football team jumped out to a 14-0 lead over Illinois in the first five minutes Saturday. After allowing the visitors to cut the lead to a touchdown twice, once at 14-7 and at 21-14, the Hoos scored the final 21 points of the game for the 42-14 final. And it really wasn’t that close.
