The Virginia football team took care of business Saturday as it slammed William & Mary, 43-0, at Scott Stadium. UVA quarterback Brennan Armstrong called “a good little icebreaker” and that seems like a good description. It wasn’t a flawless effort, but it certainly qualified as a mostly clean and convincing opener.
