From Joe Harris and Akil Mitchell … to Malcolm Brogdon and Isaiah Wilkins … to London Perrantes and Jack Salt … to Kyle Guy and Ty Jerome. The desire to excel, the consistency of effort … and the willingness to learn and grow both on and off the court. To be sure, it is fabulous and a tremendous gift to the greater UVA community to have won a National Championship. But the greater gift is to have these generations of young men matriculate at our University and be future contributors - irrespective of whether pro basketball is part of their lives - to society as a whole. Thank you, Tony Bennett, for being an incredible evaluator of character, not just basketball talent!
