TheSabre.com presents The Preferred Walk-Ons Podcast, a college sports podcast through the lens of the ACC. Michael McGraw, a University of Virginia graduate and fan, and Michael Shutt, a life-long NC State fan, both grew up watching the ACC and have insights on the history and present of the conference ... plus plenty of healthy ABC – (Anybody But Carolina) bias.

This episode focuses on a Virginia football preview with Sabre Editor and co-owner Kris Wright. Is there reason for optimism despite the program's low preseason expectations? Up for discussion ...

  • How UNC fans are reacting to a change of heart from a prized in-state recruit (0:00-7:21)
  • The state of the Virginia football program two weeks ahead of its season opener with an overview, position breakdowns, and more (7:21-39:53)
  • Hypothetical "Would you rather?" situations that test our instincts as fans (39:53-1:05:21)
