JACKSONVILLE - The Hoos On Podcast Postgame Report checks in from EverBank Stadium and the Gator Bowl where Virginia defeated Missouri 13-7. Preston Willett reacts to the victory with analysis, postgame quotes, and more as the Wahoos claimed a program-record 11th win.

The UVA defense held the Tigers to only one scoring drive and secured an interception as well with Emmanuel Karnley making that pick. Virginia had two players finish with double-digit tackles. Devin Neal led the way with 11 tackles and helped keep Missouri out of the end zone on its final drive to keep the Hoos in front. Landon Danley had 10 tackles to finish just behind Neal. Jacksonville native Antonio Clary added 7 tackles with a pass breakup (it led to Karnley's INT) in his homecoming game.

Offensively, quarterback Chandler Morris completed 25 of 38 passes for 198 yards on the way to the game's MVP honors. Receiver Eli Wood recorded 71 receiving yards on 4 catches, while Sage Ennis and Cam Ross made 5 catches each for 35 and 25 yards, respectively. Running back Harrison Waylee led the ground game with 20 carries for 68 yards. Kicker Will Bettridge set a new single-season field goal record for the program with his 24th make of the season and took over the career lead from Connor Hughes with his 67th make.
