CHAPEL HILL, NC - The Hoos On Podcast checks in with a Postgame Report from North Carolina as Preston Willett reacts to a third overtime win for No. 16 Virginia. This time, the Hoos clipped UNC 17-16 to move to 7-1 on the season.

UVA and UNC stayed locked at 10-10 for the entire second half as both teams went scoreless. That set the stage for overtime where the Hoos went first and scored a touchdown on a J'Mari Taylor run. Carolina matched the touchdown part with its possession in OT, but went for the win on a 2-point conversion try that ended up inches from the end zone as the Cavaliers escaped.

Virginia posted just 259 yards on offense with Jahmal Edrine (75 receiving yards), Trell Harris (72 receiving yards, 1 TD), and Taylor (69 rushing yards, 1 TD) leading the way. Chandler Morris threw for 200 yards with 1 touchdown and 1 interception. UVA's defense showed up and delivered again to help overcome the lower stats on offense. The Hoos ended up with 3 takeaways on 2 INTs and a Tar Heel lost fumble plus 3 sacks. Kam Robinson led the defense with 13 tackles, while James Jackson added 8 tackles and 2 QB hurries. Antonio Clary and Mitchell Melton had the interceptions.
