The Hoos On Podcast Postgame Report returns to Scott Stadium where Virginia cruised to a 55-16 win against William & Mary on Saturday. Preston Willett welcomes on Kris Wright of TheSabre.com to provide an instant breakdown of UVA's victory, including stats, analysis, and first thoughts as UVA moves to 2-1.

The Cavaliers jumped out to a 21-0 lead and eventually led 42-7 at the half in a game where they were never threatened. They finished with a program-record 700 yards of total offense, fueled in large part by a big day running the football. Virginia piled up 379 yards rushing while posting 6 rushing touchdowns in the win. Receiver Kameron Courtney started the fun running with a 23-yard end-around touchdown. Eventually, two running backs went over 100 yards each in Harrison Waylee and Noah Vaughn with Waylee netting 3 touchdowns that included a school-record 97-yard rushing touchdown in the third quarter.

Defensively, the Wahoos allowed just 7 first downs and held W&M to 263 yards on the day. Virginia had 3 sacks, 7 QB hurries, and 2 pass breakups. Myles Brown (7 tackles), Landon Danley (4), and Daniel Rickert (4) led the way in the stat column.
