Virginia football alumni Chase Minnifield and Max Milien teamed up for the Hoos Where Podcast, which focuses on building the UVA alumni community through networking, conversation, and content. In this episode, the hosts welcomed former UVA defensive end Billy Schautz to the show.

Schautz discussed his playing career at Virginia where he finished with 43 tackles and 3 sacks for the Hoos. That included a memorable win at Florida State in 2011 where Schautz had a sack and a forced fumble, but also left the game with a season-ending injury that he called a “turning point” in his academic career. Since leaving football, Schautz has worked in the video games industry with an internship at EA Sports and he currently works for a gaming start-up Mythical Games.
