The Virginia football team’s schedule will require some early season luggage. The Cavaliers’ first season under new coach Tony Elliott features three road games in the first five weeks so they will need to quickly be ready for tests away from home.

UVA opens October with the third road game of the set when it travels to Duke. Like Virginia with Elliott, the Blue Devils have a new coach at the helm in Mike Elko. That makes this an interesting game on the 2022 schedule.
