A double feature on this week's Hoos On Podcast with Ryan Odom's own version of Euro Trip and UVA baseball trying to surge towards a postseason berth.
First, Preston Willett welcomes on Double Hoo and FIBA enthusiast Nick Kalinowski to talk about Virginia dipping into Europe to fill out Odom's first roster. Nick talks about the recent influx of top European prospects coming to the college game and the gray area that is international NIL. Then Preston and Nick break down each prospect linked or committed to UVA in Johann Grünloh, Thijs De Ridder, Elisse Assui, and Martin Carrere. Finally, they discuss where Virginia's current roster sits in the ACC pecking order and what a couple of additions could do.
Later Preston is joined by D1 Baseball's Bradley Smart ahead of a massive series at The Dish between UVA and Miami. The guys breakdown what has gone wrong this season, but also a few bright spots before laying out what needs to happen for Virginia to make the NCAA Tournament.
