The Hoos On Podcast, part of The Sabre Podcast Network, returns with a Postgame Report after the Virginia football team added another win to its total. Preston Willett reacts to UVA's 30-27 overtime win at Louisville with analysis, postgame quotes, and a look ahead.
The Cavaliers built a 24-14 lead through three quarters thanks in large part to 2 touchdowns by the defense. Donavon Platt returned a fumble 61 yards for the score, while Kam Robinson went 47 yards with an interception return to post a TD too. Robinson also had 10 tackles. Overall, the defense also had 5 sacks and 8 pass breakups.
Offensively, the Cavaliers struggled to sustain many drives but they came through with the touchdown in overtime for the win. J'Mari Taylor delivered the walk-off TD on a direct snap from 2 yards out. Taylor finished with 68 yards rushing and 29 yards receiving. Cam Ross had 43 receiving yards with a touchdown and tight end John Rogers had 40 yards receiving. Chandler Morris threw for just 149 yards and a touchdown, but UVA did not have a turnover.
